Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is a program where students raise trout from eggs until fingerlings in their classrooms before releasing the trout into local streams. TIC teaches students about ecology and conservation. To learn more, visit the Trout in the Classroom page.
Sunnyview Fishing Days
Every year Clearwater TU organizes several fishing outings for Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital at Six Mile Waterworks Park in Albany.
RIVERS App
The RIVERS mobile application is a convenient way for Trout Unlimited chapters to collect data on and map disturbances on their home waters while fishing or conducting watershed inventories. This basic information is stored online and can be queried later on your phone or desktop computer to prioritize conservation projects, including having potential projects at your fingertips when funding opportunities arise. The information collected is intended to be a broad description of the disturbance with photographic evidence that is geolocated (eg, GPS location). More detailed follow-up surveys may be required as needed to determine project potential. Click here for more information on the RIVERS app and how to download it.
Redd Surveys
Trout Unlimited (TU) has developed a data collection form to support our chapters and staff in conducting redd surveys. The form is accessed through the ArcGIS Survey123 smartphone application. This guide will detail how to download the app, access the form and complete a redd survey. To learn more about the app download this guide.
