Clearwater TU is an entirely volunteer driven organization. Without our many volunteers Clearwater TU doesn't exist. We are always looking for more members to step up and become active volunteers. If you have a particular skillset or interest please e-mail us. Also, we encourage all members to attend the monthly Clearwater TU board meetings which are typically held on the first Monday of the month at 7pm and are held virtually on Zoom. Visit our Events page for details.
We currently have several volunteer positions that we are looking to fill:
Monthly Raffle The chapter is seeking someone to handle the monthly raffle. The task requires the storing of miscellaneous items in three or four plastic bins, selecting about twelve items for the monthly raffle nine times a year, running the monthly raffle or arranging for someone else to run the raffle. A small kitty can be maintained from five dollars from the cash from the monthly raffles or by using a chapter budget.
State Council Representatives The chapter is seeking an additional individual to serve as a chapter representative at three or four state council meetings a year and to report to the board what went on during the meeting. The meetings are held in Roscoe, Altimar, and rotating locations. And if unable to attend to seek individuals to attend in their place.
Other Volunteer Opportunities We are always looking for more members to become active. If you have a particular skillset or interest please reach out to us (communications@clearwatertu.org). There are always opportunities to get involved with conservation, fundraising, education, outreach and more.
